Turning Affiliate Intent into Revenue
The “Amazon effect” increased customer sales 5x.
Refersion (B2B SaaS)
Problem: Brands selling on Amazon see strong conversion, but lack the data and tools to manage affiliates—dragging ROAS and growth.
What we shipped: Amazon API integration, role-based views, and a partner comms workflow that turned raw clicks into actionable signals and next best actions.
Impact: 3×+ conversion lift on tracked campaigns, more direct affiliates (higher-margin), a new revenue stream for Refersion, and higher customer satisfaction.
Context
As UX Researcher inside a rapid-growth SaaS used by Shopify/Amazon brands, I partnered with Product, Eng, and CX to unblock the “black box” of Amazon performance.
For marketers, the stakes were simple: see the signal, act fast, prove the lift. Without trustworthy data and orchestration, budgets stall and partner momentum fades.
Users & Jobs-to-Be-Done
Affiliate/Partner: I need reliable Amazon performance signals so I can recruit, activate, and reward the right partners—lifting ROAS and revenue.
Marketing Lead: I need a clean view from spend → partner → conversion so I can shift dollars to what works.
Exec/RevOps: I need standardized data and repeatable workflows so the program scales without chaos.
